Twins Injury Woes Continue–Thome to DL

Liriano no-hits the White Sox, but Thome was sent to the DL today.

The revolving door at shortstop continues (’cause, Gardy doesn’t like slow middle infielders and so the Twins just HAD to trade J. J. Hardy and run off Orlando Hudson).

Alas, cruel irony–Blyleven wasn’t in Chicago broadcasting the Twins last night for Liriano’s no-hitter, since he was, instead, in Cooperstown, NY, at the orientation for Hall of Fame inductees. Go figure.

Liriano no-hitting the Sox in the Cell

Francisco Liriano, yes, that guy, with 8 no-hit innings vs. the White Sox tonight.

Update–8 2/3 but 3-0 to Dunn with Konerko on deck…. but, but, but Dunn lines out to short and Liriano pitches a no-hitter for the Twins tonight!
